Reflections for paper chromatography experiment. Today my partner and I had to conduct an experiment. Our teacher had separated us (our groups) to pairs or group of three. My group had only four people so we separated ourselves to pairs.
For this experiment, I had learnt how to separate the colours in dyes in ink by paper chromatography. I also had learnt that paper chromatography cam separate the colours in dyes. Anoyher thing I had learnt is that solvent water can separate the dyes in ink.
Two things that I would like to find out more is how does the dyes separate themselves and why we could not use diferent kind of papers.
One question that I would like to ask is "Did the dyes really separate to different sections?"
